August Creative Class

I love the versatility of the Blossom paper kit.  The top layout would work equally well for girl or boy photos, while the bottom layout features lots of flowers. This kit is $24 and includes two 2-page layouts and 4 cards and use of my stamps and inks. APRIL CREATIVE CLASS

April pages are bright and springy and feature the new "Brushed" paper packet which is Jeanette Lynton's (the founder of CTMH) favorite in the whole book. These two layouts each have a 12" Flip Flap that allows you to place many more pictures on each page. The cost is $23 for two 2-page layouts and four cards. Please bring your own adhesive, glue dots, 3-D mounting tape and a Slate stamp pad if you have one. You can also order a "Kit-To-Go" for an additional charge for postage if you are unable to attend.

March Creative Class

March is bonus month!  I am offering two different layouts for Creative Class and you can make either one or both!  

Confetti Wishes features bright colors and a fun surprise!  The cake on the upper left-hand corner of the layout is made using our self-adhesive Flip Flaps.  There are four layers that can be used for additional photos or hidden journaling.  You will also use the coordinating stickers that add some great detail and make assembly so quick!  Price for this kit is $23.

The second set of pages are made using our new Heartstrings Picture My Life Scrapbooking Program.  I love the variety of pre-printed cards that come in this set.  Using the PML cards ensure that it will be a breeze to assemble these pages.   Price for this kit is $25.

Simply Inspired Blog Hop: Exclusive Hostess Stamps

Thanks for joining us again for the Simply Inspired Blog Hop.  If you came from Denise Anderson-Turley's blog, you are in the right place.  If you get lost along the way, you can find a complete list of hoppers here.

I chose to use A1169 Well Wishes stamp set.  This little stamp set and versatile messages lends itself perfectly to 3" x 3" cards.  I used the cute leaf print paper from the Brushed paper packet for the base--I love the soft patterns and colors.  I first stamped in Slate, then again twice in Juniper.  I cut out two of the Juniper flowers and 3-D mounted them for some added dimension.  A gray sequin and a small sparkle gem complete this simple card.

Oh So Happy

This card is so simple in design, but so sweet!  I used the Artfully Sent Cartridge and chose one of the pocket cards for the cute tulip cut-out in Canary Cardstock.  I backed the flower and stem with paper from X719B Brushed Paper Packet and tied it up with a piece of the new Extra Thick Pixie Twine.  The "Oh So Happy" stamp set is from G1087 Workshops on the go Brushed Scrapbooking Kit and was embossed using our new Z2068 Super-Fine White Embossing Powder.

Simply Inspired Blog Hop: Year Noted

Welcome to our latest Simply Inspired Blog Hop!  If you arrived here from the amazingly talented Bren Yule's blog, you are in the right place.  If you get lost along the way, you can find a complete list of participants here.

When I saw the papers that are included in the "Year Noted" kit, I knew they would be perfect for a card idea that I have had tucked away for awhile.  The soft colors and small-scale patterns are so well suited for this card.

 

 

 

It's super easy to make these cute little folded pieces.  Punch two 1 1/2" circles and cut a 1" square--sponge the edges of all pieces.  I used Desert Sand to sponge the edges for this card.

Adhere the 1" square to the center of one of the 1 1/2" circles.  Fold the edges of the circle along each edge of the square.  Adhere to the other 1 1/2" circle and add an embellishment to the center.  Buttons, paper flowers or sparkles would be great to 

add to the centers--you might have some 

perfect embellishments in your stash!
